MELBOURNE Boomers star Liz Cambage faces a potential sanction after an alleged kneeing incident was referred directly to a game review panel by the WNBL on Tuesday.

The league said it would assess “two alleged incidents” involving Cambage during the Boomers’ 30-point win on Saturday over the UC Capitals.
It’s understood Cambage’s hearing will take place on Wednesday.
One of the incidents will focus on Capitals centre Mistie Bass, who was forced to the bench during the second quarter after she appeared to cop a knee from Cambage underneath the basket that subsequently left her with a corked hamstring.
